Professional and Personal Development

The three significances that I learned about the international early childhood field for my professional and personal development, is that it appears that no matter how poor and rich a country may be that the common goals among all countries is to develop stronger policies and larger investments to benefit the young and their families, to eradicate poverty and homelessness, to provide jobs for those who are able to work and who want to work, pay fair wages and to be able to build a stronger economy.
The one goal for the field related to international awareness of issues and trends and the spirit of collegial relations would be to eradicate poverty across the globe.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow colleagues, I’ve enjoyed corresponding with each of you over the past 8 weeks.  The array of information shared among colleagues has been both informative and inspirational.  I gained information on several websites that have enriched my professional development and that I will revisit often to keep up with current issues and trends within the early childhood field across the globe as I continue in my studies.

  1. Hello Sandra,

I agree with your statement. The common goal of every country is for all of its people to prosper. Through our research, we have come to a concensus that every country has a plan to achieve the goal of increasing benefits to support the education and well-being of young children and their families, which includes eradicating poverty, homelessness, unemployment as well as underemployment. We all will benefit from a stronger more independent economy.

Thank you, I too, have enjoyed corresponding with you. I believe that each week, I have responded to your post. Thanks for being so prompt. It helps to be able to get my replies done before Sunday because it is such a hectic day for me. Yes, the information shared has definately been both informative and inspirational. I have enjoyed this experience. Good luck and much success in the future.

  2. I enjoyed reading your posts as well as replying to many. Education is the key to success and we have to encourage the younger generation no matter what life throw at them or what they have experienced in life they have to continue to move forward and complete their education. Most times many stop at highschool but if we can motivate them and encourage them to go forward then that's what we need to do. Let them know to PUSH(Pray Until Something Happens) and everything will work in their favor. I wish you the best and GOD Bless you.

To keep the field of early childhood education going in the right perspective and to be able to motivate children. Yes we need to eradicate poverty and be able to help the homeless more.
