Children Are Our Future

Children learn to read by being read to; inspiring the imagination with tales of faraway places, fairytales, wizards, heroes and heroines.  Identifying favorite books, characters and places are among some of my earliest memories of reading.

    Every day when I read to my students I wonder, "Will they remember this story?"
    I know my own children will remember some of their favorites..Stellaluna comes to my mind as one we have read A MILLION TIMES!!! I like your blog layout...
